McGrath Lexus Service Center

Designed and built in September 2023, the McGrath Lexus Service Center renovation focused on expanding the offices and reception area to better serve both staff and clients. The design incorporates large glass windows and doors to create a more inviting experience for visitors while maintaining privacy for employees. This balance allows the space to feel open and collaborative.

Floor Plan

For the floor plan, I worked closely with the project manager and client to understand their needs for the space. After reviewing the existing layout, we expanded the offices by 11 feet and added a secondary reception area to streamline client check-ins. The new configuration creates a more functional, welcoming environment while improving workflow for staff.

Renderings

After receiving approval on the floor plan, I quickly began creating 3D renderings of the space using Revit. We presented these to the client to ensure the expanded offices and new reception area met both functional and aesthetic goals before construction began.

Custom Desks

We also created custom desks for the offices. The clients were  inspired by other car dealership offices, so we visited several in the area to gather ideas and refine the design. I worked closely with the millworker, reviewing shop drawings and collaborating throughout the process to ensure the final pieces matched the intended vision. The desks feature a two tone wood finish and a waterfall detail, creating an elevated aesthetic that balances style with functionality.
