The Vic Theater Bathroom Restoration
This project focused on restoring the restrooms at the Vic Theater while preserving the historic integrity of the building. The client’s priority was to update the bathrooms without losing their original character, so all finishes were carefully selected to match the look and feel of the original design. The result is a modern, functional restroom that honors the theater’s history.
Floor Plan and Layout
I visited to the site and took all the measurements, so I could transfer the plan into AutoCAD. This helped figure out the layout of the mosaic - which is shown in the blue highlighted portion of the plans.

The Pattern
The most unique tile in the restoration was the mosaic that ran around the perimeter of the men’s and women’s bathrooms. I worked with Daltile to create a custom mosaic that would accurately match the original. I reviewed color and pattern samples on-site to ensure the new tile perfectly aligned with the existing mosaic.
